In short

  • We collect the minimum we need to run a subscription research publication: your email, your account, and how you use the Platform.
  • We do not sell your data. Not for marketing, not for anything.
  • We do not share your data for advertising. We don’t run ads.
  • Your data is never used to generate our research. Our AI pipeline runs on market data, not on you. No subscriber personal data is sent to any AI model provider.
  • You can ask us to delete your data, at any time, and we will.

The rest of this page is the detail. It is written to be read.

1. Who we are, and what this covers

Xvoro LLC d/b/a Ticker Mavericks (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) publishes financial research and educational content.

This Policy explains how we handle personal information across:

  • The Platform — app.tickermavericks.com, our paid subscription research application; and
  • The Newsletter and public content — tickermavericks.com, tickermavericks.substack.com, @TickerMavericks on X, and @tickermavericks.com on Bluesky.

Together, the “Services.” This Policy is incorporated into our Subscriber Terms of Service.

“Personal information” means information that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you.

2. Where we operate

The paid Platform is offered solely to residents of the United States. We do not offer it, market it, or make it available to residents of other countries. Your information is processed in the United States.

3. What we collect

3.1 Information you give us

WhatWhen
Email address, nameNewsletter sign-up; Platform account creation
Account credentials and authentication metadataPlatform sign-in (handled by our authentication provider, Clerk)
Billing informationPaid subscription (handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number)
Feedback, support messages, survey responsesWhen you send them to us

3.2 Information we collect automatically

WhatWhy
IP address, browser type, device informationSecurity, fraud prevention, and to operate the Services
Pages viewed, features used, session dataTo understand what’s working and improve the product
Email open and click dataTo see whether our emails are being read

3.3 What we do not collect

We do not collect information about your financial situation, your portfolio, your holdings, your income, your net worth, or your investment objectives. We do not ask for it, and we have no use for it.

This is not incidental. Ticker Mavericks is a publication, not an investment adviser. Our content is identical for every subscriber and is not personalized to anyone. We are not able to tailor it to your circumstances, and we do not try. See our Content and Platform Disclaimer.

4. How we use it

  • To create and maintain your account, and to give you access to the Platform
  • To deliver the Newsletter and Platform content
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To understand how the Services are used, and to improve them
  • To secure the Services and prevent fraud and abuse
  • To send you service messages (billing, security, changes to these terms)
  • To comply with law

5. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. To anyone. For any purpose. We never have.

We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not run advertising on the Services. Our revenue comes from subscriptions.

We do not use your personal information to generate our research. Our screening system and AI agents run on market and fundamental data licensed from third-party financial data vendors. No subscriber personal information is sent to any AI model provider, is used to train or fine-tune any model, or influences what we publish. What you look at on the Platform does not change what the Platform produces.

We do not run credit checks on you, and we do not obtain information about you from credit reference agencies or data brokers.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

TypePurposeCan you turn it off?
EssentialSigning you in, keeping you signed in, securityNo — the Platform will not work without them
AnalyticsUnderstanding how the Platform is used (via PostHog) so we can improve itYes — see below

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not permit third-party ad tracking on the Services.

We set no analytics cookies on anonymous visitors. Analytics on our public website run without cookies. Cookie-based analytics begin only after you sign in to the Platform.

To opt out of analytics: go to Account → Settings → Privacy and turn off “Product analytics.” Your preference is saved to your account and applies on every device. You can also block cookies in your browser, though this will break sign-in.

Do Not Track: We honor Do Not Track. If your browser sends a DNT signal, we do not collect analytics from you.

Global Privacy Control: We honor GPC. GPC signals a request not to sell or share your personal information — which we never do, for anyone, whether or not you send the signal.

7. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Services. They receive only the minimum needed to do their job, and they are contractually required to protect it and not to use it for their own purposes.

ProviderWhat they doWhat they see
ClerkAuthentication and account managementEmail, user ID, authentication metadata

We may also disclose personal information when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will notify you.

8. How long we keep it

Account informationFor as long as your account is active, then 60 days after you close it
Billing records7 years, as required by tax law
Usage and analytics data12 months
Support correspondence2 years

When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or irreversibly aggregate it.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit, access controls, and a managed authentication provider — to protect personal information.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a breach occurs that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any required regulator, as and when the law requires, and we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.

10. Your rights and choices

Whatever state you live in, we will honor the following on request:

  • Access — get a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct — fix anything that’s wrong
  • Delete — have your personal information deleted (we may retain what the law requires us to keep, such as billing records)
  • Port — receive your information in a portable format
  • Opt out of analytics — see §6
  • Unsubscribe — from any marketing email, using the link in it, or by asking us

We will not discriminate against you — in price, service, or access — for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise them

Email support@tickermavericks.com with what you want. We will verify your identity by confirming control of the email address on your account, and we will respond within 45 days.

If we cannot honor a request, we will tell you why.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional statutory rights. Contact us and we will help.

11. Age

The Services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

(This matches §2 of our Subscriber Terms of Service, which requires you to be at least 18.)

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and by a prominent notice on the Services before they take effect, and we will update the version number and “Last Updated” date above.
